Parents' Association
General
Our school has an active Parents’ Association which supports and represents parents, works in partnership with the school to enhance pupils’ educational experiences, and helps to build a strong school community through communication, fundraising and volunteer activities. It acts as a link between families and the school, promoting collaboration and positive wellbeing for all students.
A new committee is elected at the Annual General Meeting of the Parents’ Association which is held in September. The Parents’ Association is affiliated to the National Parents Council. Each year the AGM of the Parents’ Association elects officers as required.
- The Parents’ Association holds regular meetings in the school
- The Principal meets with the chairperson regularly
- The Parents’ Association, in consultation with the Principal, organises various fundraising activities throughout the year
- The Parents’ Association has a written constitution
All parents are encouraged to become involved in the Parents’ Association and to support the activities and projects that are a feature of our school.
