About

Goggins Hill N.S. is a mainstream co-educational primary school under the Catholic patronage of the Diocese of Cork and Ross located in the parish of Ballinhassig.

Our mission statement advocates the primacy of the child in a supportive learning environment where each child is cherished. It seeks to foster the intellectual, spiritual, emotional, physical and personal development of the child. The school fosters self-esteem and respects differences, in a spirit of truth, justice, peace and love, enriched by a consciousness of its Catholic values.

The current enrolment is 228 pupils. The staff consists of 15 full-time teachers, 8 special needs assistants, 2 secretaries, and part time caretaker and cleaners. There are 9 mainstream classes and 2 ASD special classes.

At present, the school is entering a new phase as a building project has been sanctioned and plans are currently being explored for this exciting new development.
