Soccer League Highlights: A Celebration of Teamwork and Talent!
What an exciting few weeks it's been as our 4th, 5th, and 6th class students took part in the school Soccer Leagues! From the very first whistle to the final goal, every player brought energy, skill, and incredible teamwork to the pitch.
Each class showed determination and sportsmanship, with plenty of close matches and great moments of play. The atmosphere was electric as classmates cheered on their friends and teams gave it their all.
The Girls' Final was a thrilling match between Waterford and Shamrock Rovers. Both teams played with heart and grit, but in the end, Waterford came out on top, securing a well-deserved victory.
The Boys' Final saw Cork City face off against Galway in an intense showdown. The match kept everyone on the edge of their seats, but Cork City managed to take the win after a fantastic display of teamwork and skill.
Well done to all our students for participating—you've made your school proud with your effort, attitude, and love for the game!
