1st class have been looking at the topic of Magnetism in Science. First we had a play to see which type of objects magnets stuck to, once we decided metals were the key, we made some predictions about other objects and tested them.
We enjoyed learning about opposites attracting and like signs repelling each other. We then created a gravity defying illusion using decorated shoe boxes, paper clips, tape, string and magnets.
We also made simple pyramid structures in groups which gave us a chance to explore the invisible and strong attractive force called magnetism. We made these using skewers, loom bands, string and magnets.
