Reindeer Racing is a popular winter sport in Finland, Norway and Russia where competitors on skis are pulled by a reindeer running down a snow covered track. We don't get much snow (or know of any local reindeer!) here at Goggins Hill so instead children made their own out of balloons, paper and tape. They raced their reindeers on string learning all about air pressure, friction and Newton's 3rd Law (for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction).
