First Class had an exciting week celebrating all things Maths to kick of Maths Week 2023! The children loved being Maths detectives using their 'Maths eyes' on a trail all around our school, working in groups to find as many numbers, shapes, sizes, times, etc as they could. They started each morning with a Math Riddle and loved the challenge of problem solving throughout the week. We also had great fun with 6th Class, when they came to help us with our 'Figure Me Out' word problems. First Class even got to teach the Senior children a Number game which they had great fun doing. We finished our Maths Week celebration with a Maths Hat parade around school where the children showed off their homemade Maths themed hats!
