Junior 2K Parkrun Success

There was an amzing response to our promotion of Junior 2K Parkrun at Ballincollig. Parkrun no.44 took place on 30/01/2022 and out of 192 runners, 37 runners were from Goggins Hill! - Remember, only your first Parkrun will be rewarded with a homework pass. (You may receive armbands from Parkrun should you reach a certain milestone e.g. 10 Parkruns, etc) - It is a very enjoyable start to anyones Sunday and thr Active School Committee are delighted with the response from Children, Parents and Staff members. A special thank you to Louise for speaking to the classes about Parkrun and hopefully the numbers will continue to swell in the coming weeks. - We will rotate optional GH running vests/bib for weekly Parkrunners. (Senior Classes only for now =4th, 5th, 6th Classes, girls and boys). Of course most runners will not receive a vest each week but a few will each week and we will try to give everyone a turn. If you would like to run for Goggins Hill at Junior Parkrun and are in 4th-6th Class, just ask a member of the ASF committee. Please wash the vest when finished and return. Happy Parkrunning!
