Exploring Wind Energy: Sixth Class STEM Challenge!
13th Oct 2024
Recently, our Sixth Class students dove into the fascinating world of wind energy during their Science lessons. As part of a hands-on STEM activity, students were divided into small groups and tasked with designing their own windmills using a limited set of resources. The excitement peaked when they tested their designs with a hair dryer, simulating wind conditions to see if their turbine blades could turn freely. This engaging experience allowed students to evaluate their projects, identify areas for improvement, and make necessary adjustments. It was a wonderful opportunity for the students to learn about renewable energy while developing their critical thinking and teamwork skills!
