Last week both 3rd classes got the chance to meet with local artist Brian O' Dwyer. Brian gave the children an amazing painting demonstration which focused on colour value and afterwards children chatted with him about his artworks that are currently exhibited in Bandon Library. Children will be putting their learning into practice over the coming weeks during painting lessons and this workshop may also inform some children's Texaco Art entries should they wish to enter. This week they already started playing around with their new found painting techniques by painting a green apple just like Brian demoed.
