We had a visit from two Cork Beach Lifeguards this week! They presented a Water Safety presentation to our students. The kids learned valuable lessons on how to stay safe while playing near water, including what to do in case of an emergency and how to spot potential hazards. The lifeguards also brought along some of their essential equipment, giving the students a hands-on look at the gear used to keep our beaches safe. The kids had the opportunity to ask the lifeguards questions at the end. There were lots of important tips on how to be safe around water given throughout the presentation that will be important to put into practice when we are spending time by the water this summer.
