We are thrilled to announce that our 6th Class Science Project has made it through to the RDS stage of the prestigious BT Young Scientist Exhibition! The team is buzzing with excitement as we prepare to showcase our innovative project, which focuses on renewable energy.
Our project centers around building a model of our local village, Ballinhassig, with renewable energy resources integrated into the design. We have been working hard researching various sustainable energy solutions, including solar power, wind energy, and more, to make our village as eco-friendly as possible.
To further enhance our understanding, we were lucky to have a guest speaker from Swift Energy, who shared invaluable insights about solar panels and their role in creating sustainable communities. This visit has inspired us even more as we continue constructing our village model.
We're now in the final stretch, with not long left before we present our project to the public and judges at the RDS when we return in January. It's an exciting time for us all, and we can't wait to share our hard work and passion for renewable energy with everyone at the exhibition.
