The Rainbow Fish

posted 11 Jun 2014, 02:50 by Jan Kiernan
Senior Infants listened to the story of the Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister recently. They loved this story about a fish who shares his precious, sparkly scales. In art we made our fish that were 'every shade of blue and green and purple' just like the Rainbow Fish. They mixed these colours themselves.

We also learned all about how rainbows are formed and did an experiment in our classroom using a mirror, a torch
and some water and we made a rainbow appear on the classroom ceiling. We made Rainbows from tissue paper and when the light shines through them you can see how all of the colours mix.
