Daffodil Day: Friday 28 March

posted 18 Mar 2014, 07:58 by Administrator Goggins Hill

To All Parents and Guardians

As Daffodil Day 2014 approaches we at MSD(Brinny) would like to thank you for your support over the past years in raising much needed funds for the Irish Cancer Society through our Daffodil Day appeal.

In 2013 the MSD staff and the eight local schools (Kilbonane N.S., Innishannon N.S., Castlelack N.S., Knockavilla N.S., Lauragh N.S., Gurranes N.S., Ballyheada N.S. and Goggins Hill N.S.) that we visited raised over €13,000 which was greatly appreciated by the Irish Cancer Society.

This year Daffodil Day will be on Friday March 28th and we will visit each school to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society.

We would like the children to get involved by wearing something YELLOW on the day and bring in a €2 donation.

Staff from MSD will visit each class within the schools and one child from each class will be invited to MSD Brinny to present the proceeds of our collective efforts to the Irish Cancer Society.

On behalf of the Irish Cancer Society we would like to take this opportunity to thank you again for your continued support in raising invaluable funds for Ireland’s national cancer charity the Irish Cancer Society. For more information see www.cancer.ie

We look forward to meeting you all on the 28th March.

Yours faithfully

Staff at MSD Brinny.
